Brings the community together to appreciate the natural beauty and resources of Chattahoochee Hills through engaging events and educational activities that raise awareness and highlight the economic, agricultural and recreational benefits of conservation.
Objectives:

Enhance the community’s connection to preserved sites through events and educational activities.

Promote the economic, agricultural, cultural, and recreational benefits of conservation.

Collaborate with City Historic and Parks Commissions, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, and other interested volunteers and groups to develop or enhance the following types of programs and opportunities.

Initiatives
Place-Based Activation
- Programs to attract visitors and support local farmers, such as an agritourism farm loop, local farm directory, seasonal community farm tours, U-Pick events, and an annual Harvest Festival. Ensure each event includes interactive and informative elements.
Community Engagement & Events
- Festivals, summer concert series at parks, recreational activities, and other outdoor events. Integrate interactive and educational sessions about local ecology and conservation practices.
Tourism Promotion
- Tours of historic properties and living history events to educate the public through storytelling and generate funds for preservation. Combine learning with engaging activities for a memorable experience.

in Nature

Art in natural spaces with vibrant art, murals, and large-scale installations to bring people outdoors, complemented by workshops that educate on the intersection of art and nature.
Farm-to-Table Dinners

Dinners featuring local produce at preserved farms to showcase sustainable agriculture, including educational segments on local farming practices and food production. Ensure a balance of engaging dining experiences and informative discussions.
